Juba - The government delegation to the peace negotiations headed by Lieutenant-General Shamseddin Kabbashi, a member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, held this afternoon, the second session of the talks at the headquarters of negotiations in Juba with leaders of the Northern track.
The session made progress on all track issues.
During which the two parties agreed on the general principles for fairness of Wadi Halfa Forcibly displaced due to the High Dam Lake.
The leader of the northern track, Dahab Ibrahim Dahab, said that the session was adjourned due to a dispute over the drafting of the agreement on this file.
It is noteworthy that the Wadi Halfa Forcibly displaced are the people of Wadi Halfa who were displaced to the new Halfa area in eastern Sudan in the year 1963 AD due to the establishment of the High Dam Lake.
