Juba - the government delegation to the peace talks headed by Lieutenant-General Shamseddin Kabashi, a member of the Sovereign Council, held a discussion session at the headquarters of negotiations in Juba, with leaders of the Northern track, which includes the Kush liberation movement and the northern entity, in the presence of southern mediation and many observers.
The session, which spanned from morning to evening, discussed the framework paper presented by the track leaders to the government party, which contained many issues, foremost of which are the issues of dams, lands, borders, displaced persons, nomads, development, and investment.
Dr. Dio Matouk, a member of the Southern Mediation Team, explained in a press statement after the session, that the parties entered into a direct discussion dealing with the terms of the framework paper in detail, stressing that the discussion was serious and went well, noting that the parties will resume the discussion to complete the remaining items of the paper in the session scheduled for on Tomorrow Wednesday.
