Khartoum - Lt. General/ pilot Salah Al-Din Abdul Khaliq, head of sectoal and Social Committee of the Transitional Military Council has been briefed on vision of the Democratic Unionist Party for the transition period. The leader of the party Sideeg Zain El Abidin Al-Hindi said a press statement after the meeting with Lt. Gen/ Pilot Salah
Al-Din Abd Al-Khaliq met at the Presidential Palace today, that the party is part of the ongoing movement in the country, praising the pivotal role of the armed forces in the change which took place in the country.
Al-Hindi assured the need for an appointed parliament membership consists between (250-300) seat, adding that the party presented a vision that the parties that participated in the former regime shall not participate in order to avoid dispute. Al-Hindi called on reducing the number of parties, but not more than 120 party.
Al-Hindi noted the importance of opening a dialogue with young people and give them opportunities to participate in the government and parliament.
