SHARFM El-Sheikh - The President of the Republic and his brother, the Egyptian President, witnessed on Tuesday the closing session of the World Youth Forum in its second edition in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Five thousand young men and women from 160 countries, including Sudan, participated in the forum.
The forum held 40 meetings, during which 141 participants took part, including the Sudanese young man Ahmed Ibrahim, a PhD student at the University of Khartoum who spoke about the subject of post-conflict societies.
Ahmed Ibrahim also participated in a workshop to avoid violence and conflict during elections in countries emerging from conflict.
In the axis and simulation of the Arab summit, the young Sudanese Maysa participated while the other young Sudanese contributed to enrich the discussions in the topics discussed by the forum.
At the closing session, a group of young people from various countries were also heard and a group of outstanding young people were honored in various fields of knowledge.
Speaking at the end of the forum, President al-Sisi warmly welcomed the participation of the President of the Republic and put forward a number of initiatives to enhance and train the role of Arab and African youth.
The Ambassador of the Sudan to the Arab Republic of Egypt welcomed the participation of the President of the Republic at the closing session of the Forum and said that it was a demonstration of the attention paid by the President and the State to youth as future leaders.
